Liquibase Hub Sunset

Dear Liquibase Community,

As we update our product and features, we are constantly looking for ways to make our tool more useful to you, our users. Sometimes this means adding a feature or making tweaks to our releases, and sometimes it means stepping back and evaluating if we’re solving your CI/CD problems the best way possible — all so you can find even more value in Liquibase.

Based on feedback from our community, and after monitoring usage and interest, we’ve decided that it’s the right time to sunset Liquibase Hub and shift our focus towards other, more highly-requested upgrades.

We understand that this news may be disappointing to some, but we’re confident that the changes coming to Liquibase will provide an even higher level of functionality.

We’re excited to introduce a new way to monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot your database changes more effectively inside our Liquibase Pro edition.

Observability-focused “Structured Logging” significantly changes how Liquibase shares actions and events. We have rebuilt the logging system from the ground up to ensure that relevant data is bundled together in a structured format that is machine-readable, easily ingested, and queryable by industry-standard observability and analysis tools.

We believe Observability is a significant step forward for Liquibase Pro, and we can’t wait for you to try it out. You can read more about Observability in our release announcement.

Don’t worry, while Liquibase Hub is going away, your data is not. For up to 90 days from sunset of Hub, your data will be available upon direct request. We’ll make sure all of your data is preserved and available for download. For Hub data transition requests, please reach out to us at support@liquibase.com.

Sincerely,

The Liquibase Team
